Miso Glazed Cabbages on the Braai

Serves eight | Preparation time: 25 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes

  • Normal ones will do as well, cut into quarters
  • Olive oil 3 tbsp
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon 2 tbsp
  • White miso paste 4 tbsp
  • Maple syrup 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli 3, finely chopped
  1. Toss the cabbage quarters in the olive oil and place over medium heat, until all the sides are slightly charred.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and baste the cabbages all over, turning once more to caramelise.
  3. Serve immediately with chopped green chilli and vegan cheese.
